Diaper cakes are a popular gift for baby showers, but they can take a lot of time and effort to make. Their large size can also make them tricky to store and transport. Luckily, diaper cupcakes are much easier (and faster) to make. They are just as cute and even simpler to move around thanks to their small size. Once you know how to make simple diaper cupcakes, you can make more elaborate ones using additional items, such as baby socks and washcloths.

   Open up the diaper, so that it is a long strip, and position it horizontally. Make sure that the inside of the diaper is facing you. Do not unfold the adhesive flaps. Try to use a plain white diaper; this way, it will look more like frosting.
